Request a calculator
Missing something? Tell us what you needed and couldn't find — requests genuinely drive what we build next.
We have 57 tools so far, and the gaps are more obvious to you than to us — you are the one who searched for something and ended up doing it by hand. There is no voting, no queue you can pay to jump, and no account needed. We read every request and build the ones that come up repeatedly or that nobody else does well.
What makes a request easy to act on
- The question, not the tool name.“How much will this loan cost me if I overpay £100 a month?” tells us more than “an overpayment calculator”.
- What you would type in. The numbers you would actually have to hand when you sit down to use it.
- What you want out. One headline figure, a breakdown, a schedule, a chart?
- Country and units, if they matter. Tax, stamp duty, holiday entitlement and paper sizes all change across borders.
- Where you looked instead. If something out there is close but annoying, tell us what annoyed you.
What we are unlikely to build
- Anything that needs licensed or paid data we cannot verify or keep current — live market prices, for example.
- Tools that amount to personalised financial, legal, tax or medical advice. We will happily build the arithmetic; we will not build something that tells you what to do. See the disclaimer.
- Calculators with no published, checkable formula behind them. If we cannot show our working on the page, we do not ship it.
- Anything requiring you to hand over personal data to get a result.
What happens next
Requests are read by a person and grouped. If yours is something we build, it goes through the same process as everything else here — a named formula, the maths written out on the page, worked examples checked against the live tool, and the edge cases exercised. That is described in full on the about page.
Leave an email if you would like us to tell you when it goes live. It is optional, it is used for nothing else, and there is no mailing list to join.
Found a mistake in a calculator we have already built? That belongs on the contact page instead, with the exact values you entered.
