Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information CalcPerks collects and how it is used.

Calculator inputs

The numbers you type into our calculators are processed entirely in your browser to produce a result. We do not store, transmit or sell the values you enter.

Analytics & advertising

We count page views ourselves to understand which tools are useful. This first-party measurement records the page visited, the referring site, an approximate country, and general browser and device type. It does not use third-party cookies and does not identify you.

We may also use Google Analytics to measure traffic, and third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep the site free. These services may set cookies or similar technologies to measure usage and to serve and measure ads, and may process data on Google's servers. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we will ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Third-party advertising cookies

Advertising is what keeps every calculator on this site free. A few specifics you are entitled to know about how it works:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to CalcPerks and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of a wider list of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Google explains what it collects through sites that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. Opting out of personalised ads doesn't remove advertising from the site — you will still see ads, they just won't be tailored to you.

What we don't collect

It is worth being explicit about the things this site deliberately does not do:

  • No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login and no password. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or address to use a calculator.
  • No stored calculator inputs.Your salary, loan balance, weight, due date and every other value you type is calculated in your browser and never sent to us. We could not show you your past calculations even if you asked — we don't have them.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data.We don't sell, rent or trade data about you, and we don't build advertising profiles ourselves.
  • No special-category data.We don't ask for or retain health, financial or identity documents.

Your consent choices

Where consent is required, analytics and advertising cookies stay switched off until you accept them — nothing non-essential is set before you choose. You can accept everything, reject everything, or pick each category separately, and rejecting is always as easy as accepting.

To change your mind later, use the Cookie settingslink in the footer of any page. Your choice is remembered in a single cookie for six months, after which we'll ask again. Clearing your browser cookies also resets it.
